Advice for Your Small Business

41 YEARS GOING.... Even though I'm thankful for the gift of life, every birthday is not a significant event for me unless it's a milestone birthday. Hence, I'm not a fan of uploading pictures for every birthday like it has been customary in today's society with the invention of social media. Nevertheless, since it's Monday when I usually post practical tips to help you live a better professional and personal life, why not cheer on someone who is in business?

Have you started a small business that offers goods or services?

I advise you to hold onto to your founding vision in order to motivate yourself to remain consistent for a very long time.

Have a more defined and distinct ethos, which will be essential to your success and will guide everything you do in your business to advance your overall development.

You may be founding your business with only you, one, or three employees. Or, like it did to me once, you might have started off with a few staff and ended up losing them as a result of an unexpected storm in your life. No matter the stage your small business is in, have faith that from small beginnings, you will ultimately work with hundreds or thousands of customers annually some years from now.

Whatever the setback your business faces in your journey, keep working toward your long-term goals. Take concrete steps to further your growth for the next 20 years, and your breakthrough will eventually manifest.

You can upscale in what you love doing most, and inasmuch as you do not quit halfway or conduct your business with mediocrity, you would become a leader in your market as demand for high-quality goods and services in your sector rises.

Keep adding to your business in a way that is consistent with your goal while also being aware of and taking advantage of other potential revenue-generating areas of your business.

You might currently be living in extreme poverty or be widely viewed as someone who has utterly failed. Wipe your tears, embarrass the mockery, and get back up. When you have no financial support of any kind, it might take years to reach the game changing point where you're celebrated for what you do.

In the meantime, brand yourself. Join forces with powerful individuals who will help you grow.

No matter how tremendous your obstacles are, keep innovating your business.

Keep taking small and big forward moves as you pursue your goal of realizing your business vision on a larger scale and never look back.

May your business grow from strength to strength.

Wishing you a business future with much energy and positivity.

Your Professional friend and Coach,

Damilola Ogunremi.
